If you want to celebrate Red Rose Day by throwing those overpriced soon-to-be-dead plants in the garbage, then go right ahead. I won't stop you.
Instead, I highly recommend celebrating National Peanut Butter Cookie Day. They're far cheaper to make or buy and taste far better than roses do. Or so I assume, having never eaten a rose before.
