Daria is being surprisingly athletic in honor of World Tennis Day, especially since normally the most exerting activity she participates in is lifting a hardcover book. Jodie, being on the tennis team, might welcome the support as long as Daria puts more effort into returning serves than she did when playing volleyball.
I just hope she takes care when the ball is in play, because it's Brain Injury Awareness Day and the last thing she wants is to be hit in the head. Tommy Sherman did enough of that at Lawndale High for everyone, and Kevin's probably more concerned with avoiding knee injuries.
If Kevin does get hurt again, at least he has a gig ready for him for National Safety Day. His turn as a motivational speaker for grade school kids was actually kind of heartwarming, even if it didn't last very long.
Fanfic Update!
- The Ex-Fashion Club Comes to a Few Conclusions, by Louisethebeaverwarrior (COMPLETE!): "Despite it being her idea from the start, Quinn still rolled her eyes at herself while she dialed. Daria was probably the worst person to ask about relationship things, but she’d tried Stacy and Tiffany who had, naturally, been no help."
- Spider Quinn 20 The Imitation Tempest, by cfardell_Brenorenz29 (part 7): "It was still quite early when Daria arrived at the Historia. It was early enough that Angie was still setting up the café when she arrived."
