Kevin, oddly enough, is taking on actress Fay Wray's most famous role on the one hundred and tenth anniversary of her birth. Either that or he forgot their anniversary again and Brittany is not taking it well.

This is also National Linguine Day, so pasta-loving Jake will be getting out the old cooking pot tonight. I bet equally pasta-loving Trent will be stopping by later to try some of his favorite meal, too. Just don't let it oxidize!

Finally, today is Free Money Day, and I'm sure Tom Sloane will be along soon to pass out some cash to everyone. Very soon. Any minute....

It was Beauty that Beat the Crap Out of the QB

Brittany and Kevin are too busy to wish Fay Wray a happy birthday, but the late actress was born on this day in 1907. She was best known for her role in the classic film King Kong, which is being reenacted on the left.

Kevin is definitely not forgetting their anniversary again for a very long time.

Whatever Happened to Fay Wray?

This is the birthday anniversary of Fay Wray, the Canadian-born actress who became immortal as the Beauty of the Beast in the 1933 movie, King Kong. (The title for this post is part of a song from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which Brittany and Kevin were fond of watching at the late-night movie theater while wearing each other's underwear, per "Monster.") Speaking of King Kong and Fay Wray, there was this priceless exchange over a history assignment in the fanfic, "Historical Inevitability," by Megaleus:

• Brittany: Oh! Let's do a video! I'll be the beautiful heroine, and Kevin can rescue me from the King Kong.
• Kevin: Sounds great, babe!
• Daria: Um, Brittany, that's the Viet Cong.
• Brittany: Oh—whatever.
