They're Eating...UNAUTHORIZED Chocolate!

I see Daria and Tom are way ahead of me on National Chocolates Day, but rest assured it won't take me long to catch up. I'm sure Mrs. Johanssen would love to celebrate as well, as long as she can find someone willing to sell her some chocolate.

No chocolate for Evan, though, even if it is National Evan Day. In the case of Evan Landon, he's just a baby and shouldn't have any. In the case of Evan from the track team, well...he's kind of a baby, too, and I don't think he deserves any chocolate after the way he treated Jane.

Everyone say hi to Evan Landon for Baby Day, although considering that Evan was an infant in 1998 he's probably grown a bit since then. He might even have a baby of his own! Unless Andrew is still too young to be a grandfather, that is.

If Evan has more than one child, though, then they can also celebrate Brothers and Sisters Day. Heaven knows Jodie will be too busy to celebrate with him, and Rachel may not have forgiven him for taking her place as youngest in the family.

See Jane Run! Go, Jane, Go!

"See Jane Run" popped into existence ten years ago today on MTV. This was the first Jane-centric Daria story, if memory has not failed me. Too bad there weren't more of them. Daria is so borrrrring.

One of my favorite moments in the episode is when Jane first spies Evan. The expression on her face (at left) is priceless.

Today is also an important day in one recent fanfic, and the date turns out to be a lifesaver. Why? Check it out.
