"See Jane Run" popped into existence ten years ago today on MTV. This was the first Jane-centric Daria story, if memory has not failed me. Too bad there weren't more of them. Daria is so borrrrring.One of my favorite moments in the episode is when Jane first spies Evan. The expression on her face (at left) is priceless.
Today is also an important day in one recent fanfic, and the date turns out to be a lifesaver. Why? Check it out.

Interestingly, in the draft script of "The Misery Chick" I recently purchased, near the end, when Daria asks Jane if she wants to go out for another run, Jane answers, "I hate running." I wonder if they had this story idea in mind when they removed the line.
"Daria is sooo boring?" That's blasphemy!
Compared to Jane Lane, well, yeah.
