This marks the 88th anniversary of the birth of Bella Abzug, the famous legal and political activist of progressive turn, whom Daria is imitating at left in an MTV alter ego. More evidence of MTV's liberal bent? Probably, but more shocking is this: Daria is smiling!Today is also National Tequila Day (a lot of fanfics mention tequila), the birthday of Amelia Earhart, and the 58th anniversary of the day the first rocket was launched from what would become the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Celebrate as you see fit, but not while driving.
