Let's Celebrate National Nachos Day!

Various Internet sources inform us that today is National Nachos Day. It is a fact that Daria is not known in canon to eat nachos, though her very close and special friends Beavis and Butt-head ate them constantly. Above is their recipe for Nuclear Nachos from one of their books. (Click on the image to enlarge it.) These guys sure know how to have a good time.

I just received news that two long-time webrings, the Daria Webring and the Other Daria Webring, have been merged into one. If you have a Daria site and would like to join, please do.

You Woke Up the Dead, So Put 'Em to Bed

Gettin' late, party's over, zombies have to be reburied. My thanks to Pinhead (at right) for the most excellent alter egos, to UU for more magnificent images, to Richard Lobinske for chipping in some excellent art with his posts, and to you for reading this.

The more alert among you might notice that this website has now joined the last existing Daria Webring, which apparently started out as the Other Daria Webring. It kinda fun to explore the ring and see where it leads; not very big at the moment but there's room to grow. Webrings were big about a decade ago. They're still around, good to see 'em. Maybe more webmasters will join in for the fun of it.

Hope your Halloween was a good one. Tomorrow is a new day and a new month (and this blog will run over 124,000 hits). Cheers.

CARZ!

Super-alert fan UU has discovered a webpage that I was unaware of, listing the makes of all cars that have appeared in various TV shows and movies, including Daria. The Daria page of the Internet Movie Cars Database is a wonder to behold. Thank you, UU, and thanks to everyone who has contributed to that resource!

Note that the mysterious yellow car seen at the beginning of "The Big House" is also identified.

Trent's car, from "Jane's Addition," is at right.

Note some disagreements between what is on the IMCDB and a similar page on Outpost Daria, to which D. T. Dey, I (TAG), and others contributed.

BREAKING NEWS! Actually it's a little old, but one of the old Daria WebRings has been rebooted. I found out just recently when looking at DariaWiki. The Other Daria Webring leads to a number of different fan sites. Give 'er a try, and thanks to the RingMaster!
