I Don't Think He's Quite Right in...The Head!

The Backgrounder known as "The Head" is finally getting his turn in the spotlight, because today is the twenty-fifth anniversary of the TV show The Head. All we know about this character is that he's a fan of the show and he (allegedly) has low self-esteem. He actually seemed pretty enthusiastic in class, which is surprising given that his teacher was Mr. O'Neill. Weird.

Fanfic Update!

  • Daria's Great Adventure, by dmsfanman (part 28): "Daria sat staring at the computer screen. Today had started out as an emotional day, even though she hated to admit she had emotional reactions to things."

  • Into The Night, by elainefr (COMPLETE!): "He fell to his knees, head bowed. Failure...... I'm a failure at everything. Seems like no matter what I do...... I can't win."

  • Scenes, by JPAGC (part 4.1): "On the steering wheel, Jane caught a movement on the seat to her left and commented: 'Stop looking at your watch, will you? We'll be there on time.'"

  • Unnamed story (Scenes No Daria fanfic should have: The Saga Goes On), by Roentgen (COMPLETE!): "Well, on Sick Sad Geeks, we'll be talking to the creative team of Ratboy: The Law of the Priests, the new limited series that is the follow up to the award winning Ratboy: Genesis and its ground-breaking sequel Ratboy: Exodus. We first spoke to writer Daria Morgendorffer."
