I Hope Pizza Prince Has Enough of "the Works"!

Looks like most of Lawndale has shown up for National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day, which is one of the most specific holidays I have ever seen. Go ahead and pile up those toppings, and my sincere apologies to those of you out there who like anchovies on their pizza. All three of you.

This is also the anniversary of Auguste Rodin's birth in 1840, something that artist Jane would probably appreciate. Even if she has her doubts about whether or not that Lawn Jockey with Lantern is an original or a forgery.

Fanfic Update!

  • Daria on the Trail, by meesterlee (parts 21 and 22): "Jake came home a couple of hours later. Helen motioned for him to sit down." (Part 22)

  • Everyone's Favourite Disease, by SPEEDCOREIDOLATER (COMPLETE!): "Sunday. 12:30PM. So marks my weekly visit to the retirement home."

  • Her Last Words, by Sheila Wisz Ellayn (part 47): "It was just as cold, scary and dark as it had always been at the Level Three containment cells of Area Seventeen."

  • How Could I Forget, by Pre-Animation Man (COMPLETE!): "They laid side-by-side on Jane's bed, the slow, steady beat of Moby pouring out of the speakers mounted on either side of Jane's bedroom wall."

  • Unnamed story (Scenes no Daria fanfic should have), by wacokid (COMPLETE!): "At Lawndale High, a very, very serious meeting was taking place in the principal's office. An ... incident had occurred in the girl's gym shower room, and Janet Barch was demanding action be taken."
