This is also the anniversary of the birth of Beat poet Allen Ginsberg, born on this day in 1926 and author of the poem "Howl." This poem would eventually come in handy as some soothing, light reading material for Daria to share at the Better Days Nursing Home in "The Old and the Beautiful."
