I see Jane has taken the appropriate method to observe National Artist Day, although she may or may not actually know what day it is. For her, this is probably just another Tuesday.
If you're feeling hungry, go ahead and celebrate National Tortilla Chip Day, but best to eat them plain so they "don't fight the dip," whatever that means. If you're truly going to make the most of the holiday, be sure to have both flat and ridgy chips!
Finally, it was on this day in 1999 that the episode "Through A Lens Darkly" first aired. Daria got contacts, discovered the Eunice inside, and almost murdered a dog. What a week!
