Nine years ago today, on the nose, the great and powerful Kara Wild posted the essay, "Amy: Savior or Chimera?" She makes some good points. Were all those fannish expectations about Amy a lot of hooey? Apparently so. Amy can sure hold a grudge. Is Daria like her after all, or not? (I think we argued this one out already, though. Oh, well.)My opinion only, though these sites do enjoy broad support within the fandom. Links are active if their websites were updated since September 1, 2016.
