Legendeld has some more rants to rant. Read on.
I have a lot of new stories to mention, but no time to do it. More l8r.
A semi-irregular blog of news, opinions, and random ideas about MTV's Daria and its fandom, plus anything else even vaguely Daria related
My opinion only, though these sites do enjoy broad support within the fandom. Links are active if their websites were updated since September 1, 2016.
Message board links are marked active if relevant messages in a significant number have been posted there since January 1, 2013.

That's the fun of alternate realities. Someone sees a special potential in a character that maybe no-one else sees. But what the hey, it's your alternate reality, go for it! That's my thought, and it's worth everything you paid for it! ;-p
I never could get into the St. Amy swooping in to save the day schtick. I mean, the first time she appears, Daria and Quinn are unfamiliar enough with her that they aren't sure of her identity at first.
She's obviously a Threnace.
(Threnae are Reptilian invaders from Proxima Centauri).
I tried to avoid the whole "Perfect Amy" syndrome in "The Tempest" (the only one of my stories in which she appears). She does come in and provide a shoulder to cry on for both Helen and Daria, but she also says some rather thoughtlessly inappropriate things while doing so, because she's just not used to dealing with a situation where sarcasm isn't the best way to deal.
TAG, you posted a picture of Amy looking like that, and all you can talk about is her personality? I mean, just look at her...other attributes. ;)
But then, I'm pretty sure you've talked about those here before, too.
Yes, it's true, The Daria Fandom Blog II was the first online news source to break the story of Amy Barksdale's boob-reduction job. (Just click on "amy barksdale" under Labels and you will get the whole shebang.) However, my next big story will be about Helen Morgendorffer's boobs, and whatever happened that Rita got almost no boobs at all. Remember, only here on the DFB2!!!
You know what I think happened to Amy? I think someone told her, "Anything more than a mouthful is wasted," and she took it to heart. Nothing else explains it.
