Happy birthday to the late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, born on this day in 1859. Doyle is best known for creating the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, who was at least a bit smarter than Kevin.
Today is also the anniversary of the birth of Sir Laurence Olivier in 1907. Olivier was considered one of the greatest Shakespearean actors of all time, although apparently Jamie White could now give him a run for his money.
