Happy birthday to actress Lucy Lawless, born on this day in 1968. Ms. Barch is emulating Lawless's most well-known character, Xena, who is also most likely the teacher's role model. Let's hope Barch never thinks of bringing a sword or, worse, wearing skimpy metal armor to class.It was also on this day in 1998 that the episode "The New Kid" first aired. We not only got to meet Ted DeWitt-Clinton, but also Robert--two very odd young men for the price of one!
