A Day We Can Really Celebrate!

The first book printed with movable type, the Gutenberg Bible, began publication on this day 554 years ago in Mainz, Germany. It began the mass publication of books, which ultimately led to the publication of The Daria Diaries and The Daria Database, which we celebrate today.

We will return to the mammaristics issue soon, but had to announce the above first. Books before boobs.

PPMB
  • All in the Family...Guy, by Peapotmaster (Part 1): "When a guest star appears on a popular show, canned applause is used to cheer for the guest star," said Daria.
  • Tales of the Ringbearers—Bad Apple: Unwanted Visitors, by Doggieboy (Part 1): “Remember what the lieutenant told us. We take nothing, We damage nothing. We kill no pets or leave no calling cards. All we do is hide the stuff and leave the place as clean as we find it.”
  • Turnabout Confusion Part II: All The King's Horses, by Dennis (continued): As the bell rang and O'Neill's inane babble finally stopped, she stood and gathered her things, knowing that what she was about to do was cold comfort for her, and most likely for Brooke, too. But it's the right thing to do.
