Can You Tell Me How to Get, How to Get to...
This day is the 40th anniversary of the premiere of Sesame Street, and the 234th anniversary of the birth of the U.S. Marine Corps. Pinhead the Great produced the giant-sized images (click on them) used for this day. I think Daria is wearing part of Grover's outfit. Not difficult to guess her opinion of it. And Upchuck... not sure if he's supposed to be Rambo or some other action hero. What does he think of it? Ah, well.

Sesame Street? That particular pleasure was well and truly removed for me as a young child when my Mum discovered how I was pronouncing 'exit' in the drawn out Americanized manner (according to her). I'm Australian so this annoyed her to the point where I was promptly put back on a strict diet of Playschool on the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation). Needless to say this swift parting scarred me for life.

Tuesday, Nov. 10, 7:35AM: Can't connect to the Daria Wiki. Also, today is the 34th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior.
Wiki now open as of 8:15 AM....

If I recall, Outpost Daria has Daria and Jane in Sesame Street-like outfits for the fanfic section, in the alphabetically-sorted pages (both title and author).
Forgot about that. Exactly right!
