Lawndale: Suburb of Philadelphia?

In a recent interview with Kara Wild, Glenn Eichler said, "I thought the Morgendorffers lived in a mid-Atlantic suburb, outside somewhere like Baltimore. They could have lived in Pennsylvania near the Main Line, though." The Main Line is basically the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Any thoughts on how placing Lawndale outside Philadelphia would put a different spin on fanfiction?

Also, the shield emblem for Lawndale comes from the old Lawndale Commons site. Was this heraldic emblem once a part of the MTV Daria section long ago? Wonder what the story was behind its founding in 1872.

A spin on FF? Mm, less Civil War-related time travel, more American Revolution-related time travel, I presume.

The emblem -- ugh... Coats of arms containing letters are bad heraldry (if it isn't a very special case -- Papal heralrdry or something). And the crown is... one fake-looking crown. All in all, an emblem fit for Lawndale.

Almost forgot -- a single supporter (who's that, a lion?) must be placed behind the shield and not to the side of it.

Not to mention the basic error of tincture on tincture... :)

As long as you're not some weird art chick or a sarcastic snarker. Just toss that pigskin or wave those pom-poms high, and Lawndale'll love ya.
