Here's a weird one for Sandi's family tree. This one isn't fictional, either, but he's far enough back in history to be safe to use (no lawsuits, etc.).
Could Sandi Griffin be descended from U.S. President Cyrus Griffin? Never heard of him? Not surprising. He was in charge of things just before George Washington was elected president. Rather than explain the complicated political situation under which he ran the U.S., check out the link and see for yourself.
The idea of Sandi Griffin running for political office after graduation is interesting. There's even a relevant comment from her about it, from "The New Kid": "As president of the Fashion Club, I can be kind of intimidating." What if she carried that idea a little further, considering how well her famous patrilineal ancestor did? She might run for class president in her senior year, work for politicians as Jodie Landon did, become an intern. Washington, D.C. isn't far from Baltimore, after all. Who knows where she'd wind up?
