A PPMB thread on real-life costumed crimefighters [groan] has morphed into a discussion of how any normal person (i.e., a Daria character) could become a Spandex-wearing hero in his or her own mind. Maybe this will spark some fanfic along the same lines, though there is already quite a lot of superhero Daria fanfiction.
