All Politics Is Loco
Here's one for the history books: The Daria Database showing Ms. Li as a W supporter in 2000. Was that prescient, or what? That letter she wrote to the then-governor displays the most amazing cheek, asking to measure Texas's electric chair so she can make a duplicate for Lawndale high school. "Bush for President in 2000!" she writes, and this in a book published exactly two years before the 2000 elections. Wow.
But . . . what if . . .
What if W had taken her up on her request to meet with him? What if he had liked her? What if she had entered the inner circle of the neocons? What if they had liked her? What if, just as Daria and Jane were entering college in Boston, Angela Li resigned as a high school principal and joined the White House staff of President Bush? What would have happened then?
Think about it.
And maybe write something about it. Hey, if Bill Clinton can get into Daria, anyone can. (Wait, I didn't mean it like that. I meant . . . just forget it.)

Li as a Bush staffer? I think my brain just exploded.
Couldn't be any worse than the reality, could it?
Somehow, I see Ms. Li as part of Dept of Homeland Security - School Security Division
Yeah, I can totally see that. Creepy.
