Also, I meant to say that according to some mythologies today marks the 54th anniversary of the birth of rock-and-roll music, when Elvis Presley recorded "That's All Right (Mama)" in the studio. (The record was not released until September.) Other songs have been benchmarked as rock-and-roll's birth cries, so the topic is a contentious one. Because I have a picture of Trent as Elvis, I'll go with that and not Bill Haley's "Rock Around the Clock." You may argue the choice in "Comments" if you wish. Or, you know, not.This date is important to Daria because Daria was loaded with rock soundtracks . . . which, because of copyright issues, is the main reason why the show hasn't yet been released on DVD.
Kind of ironic or something, I guess.
