Gnus yew kan yews. . . .

From here and there on the Internet,* here's the gnus. . . .

* Roentgen says "Internet" is not capitalized, but I must see proof before I change! Proof, do you hear me? PROOF!

Patrick Smith, who directed the MTV series Daria, will speak at South Dakota State University on March 12, 2008. See here for details.

I added some Polish websites plus a few more "extinct" ones that might sound familiar to you. As for the fanfic updates:

Lawndale Online
  • Richard Lobinske's Daria Von Doom trilogy has been uploaded.
SFMB
PPMB
  • And All That We've Won, by The Sidhe (Part 4): Confederate generals know their horses. And their horsepower.
  • Earthfall, by legendeld (Episode 4, Part 1): “Oh, hell,” Jane said loudly, just before everyone started shooting.
  • A Little Vacation, by Doggieboy (Part 13): Ka-BOOM.
  • The Misery Chicks, by NightGoblyn (Part 13): A calm of sorts descends . . . for how long? AND WHY DID ROGER HAVE TO DIE THAT WAY? WHY??? WAAAAH!!!! *
  • My Sons, by legendeld (Part 4): “We’re fine, Mom, just some teenage angst coming to the surface,” Daria called through the door.
PPMB Art
  • The amazing S.C. has prepared a mind-blowing montage of animation that will, without a doubt, blow your mind as it's never been blown before. Click here and hang on!
* Contains mature content plus horrible mouse fate. Brace yourself.

Wherever trouble raises its ugly head, there I shall be, like a thief in the night, removing the uppercase "I" from internet and replacing it with a lower case one.

"internet" is not capitalized.

"Internets", such as George Dubya has access to, should be.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

i can has no Internet?

The Internet is capitalized because it is a proper noun, being the global computer network that'll one day rain missiles down upon us, its creators. This is separate from any old computer network hanging around doing its thing.

It's like the difference between god and God: One is the generic term for a deity, whereas the other is a specific deity worshipped by Christians.

I'm still trusting in Sarah Connor to save us.

By the way, Happy Birthday, E. A.

I just wonder if "skynet" should be in lower case....

Thanks! Personally, I like to call it "Christmas in March".

And Skynet should definitely be capitalized. You capitalize personal nouns, and what's more personal than a sentient computer out to kill us all?

This post is just to let you know
That I was right! I told you so!
I told you so, I told you so,
I told you so, I told you so,
I told you so, I told you so,
I told you so, I told you so!

And let me add that I'm glad we handled this in a mature fashion.
