"That's not a car. It's a time machine."

Twenty-five years ago today, on October 26, 1985, Marty McFly went back in time to November 5, 1955. At least, he did in Back to the Future, Part I. In just under five years, he'll show up again for the sequel, set in 2015. This prompts me to ask, where the hell are my hoverboard and self-drying clothes? Shouldn't we at least be seeing some prototypes by now?

Daria's line (quoted in the title) from "That was Then, This is Dumb" may have been a reference to the Delorean/time machine in the movies. Milo Minderbinder also wrote a hilarious parody of all three films in the trilogy. Check 'em out!

And now, how about some fandom news?

Liz Ruiz and Disco316 are engaged! Congratulations to both of them!

Quiverwing has posted more pictures from her trip to London.

Do you think Amelia from "Camp Fear" was annoying or not? Join the discussion!

Fan artist breitasparrow has posted "Thriller Bowl," a Halloween Daria work, in the Easel.

And speaking of fan art, minx is now taking requests for Halloween art!
