Jesse's wishing a happy birthday to the late Bob Barker, born on this day in 1923. He'd also like to remind everyone to spay and neuter their pets, and wonders if "Come on down" would be a good replacement name for Mystik Spiral.

Kevin, meanwhile, will hopefully know better than to pester Mack about his summer job, even though it's National Ding-a-Ling Day. However, I suspect Mack was less bothered by the ringing bell than he was about the feral children flinging ice cream at him.

It's not quite Christmas yet, but X is insistent that we all celebrate Gingerbread House Day today. He really needs someone to make him one of those little cottages all made out of gingerbread.

Let's join Jesse in wishing Bob Barker a happy 99th (!) birthday. Or at least that's as close as I'll guess and hopefully not go over. Incidentally, can you imagine Jesse as any kind of game show host? The small talk with contestants would be cringeworthy.

This is also National Ding-a-Ling Day, and Daria's favorite ding-a-ling Kevin is probably going to ask Mack to ring his little ice cream truck bell.

And then he will immediately regret it.

Jesse's inviting you all to come on down to celebrate Bob Barker's birthday! The Price is Right host turns 96 today, so as a gift you could either estimate the cost of this lovely dinette set or spay and neuter your pets. Your choice!

Today is also the anniversary of the birth of Edvard Munch, artist best known for "The Scream," in 1863. Something tells me he would have been a big fan of Jane's "Art Colonies Suck" period.

The Price is...Cool

Jesse's looking more enthusiastic than usual in this alter ego of game show host Bob Barker, who celebrates his 91st birthday today. I'm not sure I can picture Jesse as a game show host, but I suppose it makes about as much sense as his Is It College Yet? alter ego of singing in a choir. Either way, he'd have to put on a shirt.

Progress is still slowly being made on repairing the PPMB database, but be sure to keep checking the news on the Paperpusher MB twitter feed while you talk to other Daria fans on The Sh33p's Fluff Message Board.

Jesse is inviting everyone to come on down for game show host Bob Barker's 90th birthday! I can't see Jesse making a very good game show host, though. You have to be able to say more than two words.
