In an interesting switch, Daria is the one celebrating Inspire Your Heart with Art Day, and Jane is acting as the inspiration instead. I hope you, too, can find inspiration in artwork, even if that means drawing a circle and a line over something with lipstick.

For those (like me) living in places currently experiencing cold weather, feel free to enjoy National Hot Chocolate Day to warm up! If you want, you can pretend to be part of a cute family of teenagers who are stranded during a hurricane.

Helen and Jake have chosen what might be the strangest method of celebrating National Horse Day that I've ever seen, but to each his own I suppose. I suspect Daria will be staying far away from any real horses, thanks to her unpleasant experience at Camp Grizzly.

She would probably rather stay home with a good book, and perhaps a nice warm beverage in honor of National Cocoa Day. Quinn can even tell her about that family of teenagers and their harrowing experience with a hurricane where cocoa made them feel better and Daria's kicking her out of the room already.

If cocoa isn't your thing, you could eat a cold sweet treat instead because it's Ice Cream Day! Mack the ice cream man will probably be along shortly with his little hat and bell that goes ding-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling. A-ling.

I see that Jake and Helen are enjoying National Horse Day. Perhaps enjoying it a little too much. I guess what two consenting adults get up to in the privacy of their own home is between them...and the teenagers who'd better hope they don't walk in at an inopportune moment.

In fact, it might be a good idea for Daria and Quinn to celebrate Ice Cream Day by going out for a cone or dish of their favorite flavors. Might I suggest Firstdown Fudge, courtesy of the Bro and QB Ice Cream Company?

Considering that, at least in the Northern Hemisphere, it's a bit cold for ice cream, you could also choose to observe National Cocoa Day instead. Quinn can even tell us all about that TV movie about the really cute family of teens who drank cocoa during a hurricane.

How About Hot Cocoa Ice Cream?

Mack has had better Ice Cream Days, and I think it's only a matter of time before someone gets an ice cream scoop shoved somewhere uncomfortable. On the one hand, it seems strange to have Ice Cream Day in December when it's cold, but on the other hand any day is good for ice cream as far as I'm concerned.

If you prefer warmer treats in winter, though, then I have good news: today is also National Cocoa Day! It's not just for families of teens during hurricanes anymore.
