Poor Tom is really trying to appreciate Immanuel Kant on the 293rd anniversary of the philosopher's birth, but I just don't think it's going to work out. If only Kant had livened up the book with a gunfight or a fur bikini, Tom might have been able to stay awake. But then we'd have had no wacky hijinks involving school rumors, so perhaps it's all for the best.
Today is also Girl Scout Leader Day, so let's all take a moment to appreciate the poor soul who had to take Jane Lane and a bunch of girls singing "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" on a hike. Hey, I just thought of Mr. DeMartino's dream job!
Fanfic Update!
- Decisions, by elainefr (part 12): "'Ah,' Daria winced at the sting of the alcohol that she was dabbing on her cuts. 'Damn Zon and their broken bottles and stupid me, for getting into a fight over a guy. This is so high school.'"
- This is my stop, by Honey-On-Toast (parts 10 and 11): "The washing up was more of just a task of physical work, it was persuading Quinn to participate. There was nagging, exchange of sarcasm, bribery and finally it was done." (Part 11)
