Jodie is trying to re-create the first spacewalk, which happened on this day in 1965. Of course, the American flag is an awkward addition since the first spacewalk was performed by a Russian cosmonaut.
In fact, today is the perfect day for awkward moments because it's Awkward Moments Day! For Daria, every day is Awkward Moments Day when Trent's around.
