Date Nuts and Starry Nights

Helen's celebrating National Date Nut Bread Day the old-fashioned way, but I wouldn't blame her for breaking out the bread machine for this one. Honestly, I wouldn't blame her if she wanted to just go out and buy some bread instead. I'd suggest she let Jake do the cooking instead, but I shudder to think what the results would be.
