"Oh, the lack of humanity."

Today is the anniversary of the Hindenburg disaster in 1937, an infamous tragedy that's notable within fandom because of the poster adorning the inside of Daria's locker.

Also, happy birthday to the late Sigmund Freud, born on this day in 1856. Without Freud, we would not have psychotherapy. Without psycho therapy, we would not have "Psycho Therapy." Without that episode, we would not have gotten that awesome role-playing scene.

Today's essay question: Does Jake's milk obsession have its roots in some deep-seated trauma related to his mother? Explain.

What Is That Picture in Daria's Locker?

We get a brief look inside Daria's school locker in "Quinn the Brain," and in addition to the familiar picture of the Hindenburg crashing and burning there is some kind of surreal landscape taped to the right side of her locker. Can anyone tell what that picture is? I haven't a clue, though I wondered if it was a Dali.

I've been looking at this shot for some time and cannot tell what it is. Thanks for any help here. Just curious.
