Happy Pi Day! You could celebrate by calculating pi to 500 digits, or--and this is my preference--eating some delicious pie. Just make sure you calculate the circumference of the pie first. It's kind of fitting in the math/science geek vein that today is also Albert Einstein's birthday. Apparently Kevin resembles the late great physicist when he wears glasses, but I don't see it. Maybe he needs to tease his hair more.
Finally, today is Learn About Butterflies Day. Thanks to Amanda Lane, we have a pretty good understanding of the pros and cons of holding butterflies tightly versus letting them go, and in Jane's opinion that's more than enough information.
