It's quite the day for economics birthdays! Both Adam Smith and John Maynard Keynes were born on this day, in 1723 and 1883, respectively. Mrs. Bennett, Lawndale High School's economics teacher, may wonder what those economists would have thought about field trips to the mall and holding medieval fairs for library roof repairs.Today is also World Environment Day, a day when we reflect on the importance of protecting our planet and try to make a difference in keeping it safe for future generations. Or at least refrain from littering a little bit.
