It's Festival of Sleep Day, but celebrate quietly--you do not want to wake Daria up too early in the morning. Or afternoon. Or any time. We all know Trent is observing this holiday. In fact, he's most likely the patron saint of the day or something.

Today is also the anniversary of the 1892 birth of J. R. R. Tolkien, author of such fantasy books as The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Tolkien fans out there might be interested in Dennis's (unfinished) crossover, Shadows of a Timeless Song.

We know Jake and Helen were Tolkien fans in their younger days, as shown by the Hobbit candle Jake gave Helen in the "Sappy Anniversary" flashback. Or at least we're pretty sure it was supposed to be a Hobbit.
