Today is also the anniversary of the birth of the late actor Jimmy Stewart, born on this day in 1908. Not only was Stewart a millionaire by the end of his life (maybe it's just a good day to be born?), but he also starred in many classic films. One of these was It's a Wonderful Life, which was referenced at least twice throughout Daria--in "Depth Takes a Holiday" and "Jake of Hearts"--as well as in the Beavis and Butt-head episode "It's a Miserable Life."
