Deal Me In!

Mack's wondering if anyone wants to join him for a game on National Poker Day, and yes, jacks are wild. He's short on cash as usual at the moment, but can raise you the tender liver of a newborn babe.

On second thought, perhaps you'd be better off celebrating Poetry & The Creative Mind Day, where no livers need to be involved at all. However, if Quinn offers to share one of her poems then don't accept under any circumstances.

Honestly, at this point I think I'd rather just go give Future Daria a hand with her many cats in honor of National Cat Lady Day. Maybe I'll help her throw out those thirty-year-old newspapers while I'm at it.

Fanfic Update!
  • The Many Saints of Lawndale, by wilddogjj (COMPLETE!): "Stacy sat behind the anchor desk at the news studio making a last-minute makeup check in a hand mirror while her co-anchor, a middle-aged man with a Magnum, PI mustache, was checking his hair." (Part 2) (Part 3)

  • Party at 111 Howard (Iron Chef: Party at Casa Lane), by cfardell_Brenorenz29 (part 7): "'Don't worry, Miss Morgendorffer. No other faculty members are coming.' He looked at Jane. 'Other than Defoe of course. She'll be here shortly.'"

  • The Witch and The Ring, by Sheila Wisz Ellayn (parts 5 - 8): "After having killed so many victims through those dark years, this was the very first time that one of them had fought back." (Part 6) (Part 7) (Part 8)
