Famous person birthday time: today is the anniversary of the birth of Marie Curie, who studied radioactivity and, um, wasn't as careful with it as she should have been, but back then no one had any idea that radioactive stuff might be a little hazardous. Today is also an important anniversary in the field of bridge building (as in, how not to), and it is also an important date in a fanfic in which Jake Morgendorffer and Amy Barksdale conduct a torrid secret sexual affair, no kidding, sorry if you were eating or drinking something when you read that.
