Jane rubs her aching arm during a moment to herself in "Art Burn." She's painting a copy of a famous painting by Salvador Dali, the Spanish surrealist painter who celebrates his 106th birthday anniversary today. Can you guess which painting it is that she's copying? Dali is mentioned in passing in a few fanfics. On the Sick Sad Life Planner CD, Jane Lane has a thought about what made Dali so great.My opinion only, though these sites do enjoy broad support within the fandom. easy peasy- the persistance of memory :) For once I actually knew something without having to google it :D
One of the abandoned ideas for FiC, "Latitudes" was for the gang to see more of Florida, including a stop at the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. Kind of regret that it got cut for space and plot reasons.
Also was bummed that I couldn't time things right for them to watch a shuttle launch.
