She Didn't Seem Like the Cartwheel Type

Daria's celebrating National Gymnastics Day, and I'm happy to see that Helen finally found an activity Daria is willing to participate in. I don't think it'll last long, though. One look at the sparkly outfits she's expected to wear and she'll quit before you can say "back handspring."

Today is also Citizenship Day, and I hope Mr. DeMartino has his papers in order. The last thing he wants is another run-in with Immigration.

Fanfic Update!
  • Crystal Claw, by Sheila Wisz Ellayn (part 18): "The dreamy white stars looked so bright and distant in the frozen sky above, a few fallen leaves would fly with the wind between the trees, nothing could be heard except for a few cats in the distance and everything was quite cold and silent at Lawndale that night."

  • Her Last Words, by Sheila Wisz Ellayn (parts 41 and 42): "The great and orange Coulthard House certainly had all of its doors and windows well locked that day, it would take some time for Ethel and Lachlan to arrive there with the keys and yet that was not an inconvenience for Anna Felicia at all." (Part 42)

  • Like a Steel Beam Through the Heart, by WildDogJJ (parts 1 and 2): "Quinn, Jim and the triplets were at the kitchen table having breakfast. The boys had their backpacks with them as they were walking to school after eating." (Part 2)

  • Unnamed story (Scenes no Daria fanfic should have), by shiva (COMPLETE!): "Daria sat on the floor of her room, still processing everything that had happened."

  • Unnamed story (Scenes no Daria fanfic Should Have: How did We survive?), by Sureia (COMPLETE!): "'Daria! Pick three cards!' 'What?'"

  • Video Assignment Chaos, by cfardellbrenorenz29 (part 4): "Fifteen minutes later, they arrived outside Jane's house. Quinn knocked on the door."
