Daria's recreating the opening scene of the series Murder, She Wrote, which premiered on this day in 1984. I'm glad she went with a new outfit, because riding a bike in a skirt is possible, but comes with its own special challenges.
It could be that she's only on a bike because she wants to get as far away as possible from everyone else for National Love People Day. After all, she...well...doesn't.
Someone should tell Ted that it's National Chewing Gum Day, and perhaps offer him a slice of Juicy Fruit. He might even be ready to handle the hard stuff: Dubble Bubble.
Fanfic Update!
- Spider Quinn 12 Rise of the Green Goblin, by cfardell_Brenorenz29 (part 3): "While Quinn was looking at the Schloss Morgendorffer architectural blueprints, Norman Osborn was looking at the engineering blueprints for the prototype glider. It was perfect for his needs."

Where does the picture of Daria riding the bike come from? I saw it and it immediately called my attention. I can't seem to be able to find it anywhere.
It's from the episode "Murder, She Snored."
Thanks, Kristen!
