Let's Go Shopping . . . in the Year 2000!

At left is the Daria Store on the MTV website, exactly as it was on March 21, 2000. (Thank you, WayBack Machine.) Click on it, but be warned: the image is BIG. Those were the days.

There was also an archive site in the old Daria section of MTV.com that showcased animation errors on the show, like bad lip syncs and Kevin having only one eye. (When was that?). Kind of like a blooper reel. However, as all the images and movie clips are apparently gone and cannot be recovered, at least by me, there's little point in messing with the remnants on the WayBack Machine.

A cheery little ad segment from the start of the fifth season: "Hey Daria Fans! Season 5 is right around the corner and MTV's kicking it off with the Daria Sarcastathon 3000! The fun starts on Saturday, February 17th @ 2:30 p.m. (ET) / 1:30 p.m. (CT) and continues throughout the weekend (check the weekly schedule for airtimes). We'll have lots of cool stuff for you besides back-to-back episodes, so don't miss it!" Missed it. Crap.

The mighty Richard Lobinske has again updated his listing of the 2008 Daria Visual Fanworks for PPMB and SFMB, which reminds me that I am two months behind on that task for fanfiction. Will get to work on it.
