Eight years ago today, Is It Fall Yet? debuted on MTV. Six years ago today, Is It College Yet? was released on DVD in the U.S. Why today? I'm not sure, but it's kind of a red-letter day for Daria fans.This was also the day of the infamous Daria-and-Jane live chat on MTV online. It's quite a funny read. Check it out.

Actually, I believe that it is his 2nd senior year picture...but I could be wrong.
I remember hearing that one of the Daria movies was truncated in its DVD relesae, but I don't recall which.
I really hate when that happens.
That would be IICY? There's nothing critical left out, but even after only seeing the full version once on TV, the cuts were still pretty obvious (and annoying).
I seem to recall MTV giving some dubious reason for putting the abridged version on the DVD, but I don't remember if they used condescension in their explanation or not. Did anybody manage to get all those old pre2003 board posts copied and archived before the big chop? Unlikely, I know, but if so....
