Happy Labor Day to everyone in the United States! Today is the day we celebrate working by, you know, not. Take a cue from Helen and Jake--just sit back and relax!
Er, at least until Eric calls. Or another Mad Dog flashback kicks in. But aside from that, it's a great time to chill!
Labor Day is always the first Monday in September, but on this specific day (September 5th), the very first Labor Day parade took place in New York City in 1882. No word so far if severed penguin heads or emergency toilet paper were involved, but let's all pretend they were.
Today also happens to be Be Late For Something Day, which Trent should have no problem with. Then again, knowing Trent, he might oversleep and end up being late for something tomorrow instead--thus being late for Be Late For Something Day. Just in case, why don't we leave it loose?
Finally, Daria and Jane might enjoy another random wacky holiday today: National Cheese Pizza Day. Although they might choose to put some pepperoni or sausage on it. Quinn will most likely prefer cheeseless, so I suppose she'll be celebrate National Bread With Tomato Sauce Day.
