One RBF, Comin' Up!

This is National Root Beer Float Day, says the calendar. So be it. Go forth and consume mass quantities.

The World Wide Web is 19 years old today, almost legally old enough to drink. Here is a snapshot of its birth. Also having birthdays today are Kevin Mitnick, mega-hacker; Geri Halliwell, ex-Spice Girl; director M. Night Shyamalan ("I see dead people"); and Pop icon creator Andy Warhol. Two of the above had Daria alter-egos drawn for them. Can you guess which ones? Click and see.

Fanfiction list being compiled but delayed by delaying-type circumstances that provoke delays.

How did Cassandra get blonde hair? She's a brunette!

I do not work for Marvel, I do not know!
Probably, she has recoloured hair...

Question...
These comics are considered as a canon?

That's a good question. I don't know. Is there anything really wild in them?

Outpost Daria has a list of her comic role, and she was in most of the issues to a lesser or greater extent. http://outpost-daria.com/ch_diarrhea.html Several issues were written by Daria writers, I've just seen. She gets to tell a Halloween story about Death coming for the duo, get asked by them how to pick up a "real chick" and what the meaning of Christmas was (they assume she was joking), twice have them wonder if she has tits and once diss Beavis' weiner, get given a present during a class gift exchange ("a condom. How lovely"), and fail to maintain order of a Model UN when the duo turned up. The essay notes that the duo are meaner to her in the comic than the show.

And at one point, when the schoolbus is leaving B&B in Amish Country by mistake, Daria stops Stewart from warning the teacher: "Speak, Stevenson, and you die."

Also, Daria answered the comic's letter page twice, talking directly to B&B fans in the real world. THAT should be canon.

If it is a canon, there a lot of the interesting information. For example an internal interior of the house of Morgendorffer in Highland.
Or Daria's presence on parties and Stewart's birthday.
And many, many other things.

But it is interesting to nobody. There there is not Jane, after all!

"Or Daria's presence on parties and Stewart's birthday."

You know how sometimes kids will turn up at parties because the parents were friends, even if the kid doesn't want to? I bet that was Daria.

But where Jake and Helen?
You think, Stevensons and Morgendorffers are neighbours?
