Why We Have a Poison Control Hotline

Just like it was last year at this time, today is National Kitchen Klutzes of America Day, by which I mean this is Jake Morgendorffer's day to cook. Want to add a bit of realism to Jake's cooking in fanfiction? Try having him make Italian salad (devised in Ulster in World War II during food rationing) or strawberry sausages. Perhaps he gets a copy of this book and likes what he sees. Don't forget to have Daria and Jane sing the Poison Control Jingle at the story's end!
