As the French would say, Je ne sais quoi

Famed TV French chef Julia Child was born on this day, as was Napoleon Bonaparte, making this a very French sort of day in history. Helen Morgendorffer and Janet Barch will assist with the alter egos. Also on the French theme for the day, it is National Acadian Day in Canada, there is a French movie called 15 August (15 Août), and Nobel Prize-winner French guy Louis de Broglie was also born this day (though many years ago). If you are writing a Daria fanfic that makes use of quantum mechanics, throw in de Broglie's name and the story will sound super extra cool. Trust me on this. De Broglie invented the science of wave mechanics, which I won't pretend to understand, but his name is really all you need for your story especially if the story makes use of (get ready for this) Schrödinger's cat (handy illustration here).

The reason this has to do with Daria because in "College Bored" we learn that Daria wants to go to college in Paris.

As the French Chef would say, c'est la fin des haricots ("How the heck am I going to make chili now?").
