I'm not sure what Daria's got in her mug, but I hope it's tea because today is National Hot Tea Day! I could see Daria as a tea drinker, actually. Not any of the fancy flavored ones, but regular hot tea.

Today is also Kiss a Ginger Day, and I have no doubt that Joey, Jeffy, Jamie, and every other boy at Lawndale High will be lining up to celebrate with Quinn. Upchuck, however, will probably be disappointed by the turnout.

Ms. Barch is looking classy as the late Marlene Dietrich, born on this day in 1901. Dietrich was more than just an actress; her history is a fascinating one.

Today is also the anniversary of Howdy Doody, who made his first appearance on this day in 1947. No word on whether Upchuck's resemblance to the character is intentional or not.

Looks like the search is already over for Look for an Evergreen Day--turns out it was in the Morgendorffers' garage the whole time. Of course, that tree is most definitely a fake, but the holiday doesn't say the evergreen has to be real, right?

Today is also the anniversary of the movie Titanic, which was released on this day in 1997. Perhaps Mr. O'Neill and Ms. Barch will recreate that iconic scene again, and with any luck they'll both fall into the water and leave the rest of us alone.

Brittany looks awfully troubled about the anniversary of the movie Edward Scissorhands, which was released on this day in 1990. I suspect she's regretting her decision to let Dr. Shar make a few "little adjustments," especially now that she'll be risking her own life whenever she tries to twirl her hair around her finger.

Today is also Letter Writing Day, another activity that Brittany will find challenging. Not because of the scissor hands, but because of her complete illiteracy.

Quinn's all in for online shopping on Cyber Monday, and I wonder how the Fashion Club would feel about online shopping now that it's mainstream. On the one hand, you can't try the clothes on before you buy them and I'm sure the girls are all about the thrill of the hunt. On the other hand, no shopper's cramp and they can shop without having to mingle with undesirables. What do you think?

Well, Jane is observing Go to an Art Museum Day but it doesn't look like she's having a good time. Then again, maybe picking on artwork she doesn't like is her idea of a good time. Who am I to judge?

Today is also Young Readers Day, which Daria has celebrated every day since she was young and able to read. Hey, we're all young at heart, right? So read a book!

Looks like Jake is celebrating the Morgendorffers' least favorite holiday, National Men Make Dinner Day! You know, I pick on Jake but at least he makes the effort. Helen serves so much frozen lasagna I'm assuming she holds shares in Stouffer's.

After you finish your Kitchen Sink Stew, remember to clean your teeth because it's also National Brush Day. I hope Trent finally found his own toothbrush, because he can't just keep borrowing Jane's. I mean, if nothing else it's just kind of gross.
