New News That Doesn't Suck!

Wonderful, the kind of stuff you can dig up on the Internet.

On PPMB, Kara Wild just announced that an article about Daria on DVD appeared in the French magazine Télérama (July 15, 2009 issue). The French have christened Daria as l’antipom-pom girl, which I think is French for "outcast."

Not to be outdone, Kara has also posted a notice that PPMB can now be accessed using the thepaperpusher.com address, which she managed to acquire. HOORAY!

TEN YEARS AGO TODAY: Martin Pollard invented the term "anti-'shipper" in an essay for this fandom.

The guidelines for Daria chat using IRC have been revised. Click the link for more.

LAWNDALE ONLINE is lookin' pretty snazzy nowadays. Check it out.

The Daria Fan Club now has 1,349 members. Do it to it.

ART! ART! ART! Richard Lobinske has updated the 2009 Daria Visual Fanworks list.

Toonopedia's webpage for Daria has a yukky, out-of-focus picture from "Esteemsters." We should direct the webmaster to a nicer looking image.

I'm still updating fanfiction for today a few posts below this one. Discovered a previously unknown Daria crossover on FF.net. Gotta be more careful, hate to miss stuff.

TO DO LIST: I need to update the Big List o' Fanfic before the end of this month. I've missed updates for the last 10-12 weeks. Sorry, real life and all that.

Stay tuned.
